Do you charge for estimates?+
No. Written estimates for every service and commercial plans are always free, we visit, measure, talk through colors and finishes, and email you a clear, itemized quote with no obligation.
How soon can you start?+
Most estimates go out within a day, and typical projects are scheduled within one to two weeks. For urgent renews, before a move, a sale or an event, just tell us the date and we'll do our best to fit you in.
What does “upfront flat pricing” mean?+
Before any work begins, we give you one clear, flat price to approve, prep, materials and labor included. No hourly meter, no surprise add-ons at the end. You always decide before we start.
What should I do before you arrive?+
Move the car out if the door still opens, and nothing else. If it will not open, leave it exactly as it is, doors in distress get worse with cycling.
Is a grinding or slapping sound urgent?+
Grinding is dry rollers, annoying but patient. A slap or bang on start is often a cable or spring announcing itself, stop using the door and call.
Why replace both springs at once?+
They age as a pair, when one breaks the other has weeks left. One visit, matched pair, balanced door, it is cheaper than two rescues.
What brands do you install?+
Major-manufacturer doors and belt-drive openers we can still get parts for in fifteen years, quoted honestly against your budget.
Can you price over the phone?+
For springs, openers and tune-ups, usually yes, exactly. New doors get a free measure so the quote is real, not a range.
Are high-cycle springs worth it?+
If the door runs six-plus times a day, absolutely, four times the life for a modest upcharge. Light users can skip them, and we say so.
What happens during the free door check?+
We cycle the door, test balance at three heights, read the springs, cables and rollers, and hand you a plain-English verdict with flat prices per fix.
Why does my opener strain or reverse?+
Usually the door, not the opener: failing balance makes the motor lift real weight and the safety logic push back. Balance first, then judge the opener.
Can a badly dented door be saved?+
Often, single panels swap in place and read as one. Around three damaged sections the math flips to a new door, we show both numbers.
How fast can you come?+
Trapped cars and snapped springs jump the line, usually same morning. Tune-ups and installs book within the week.

Do you haul away the old door?+
Same day, springs and all, recycled where the steel allows. The garage floor gets swept before we go.
Is the work guaranteed?+
Yes, in writing, parts and labor. If a spring we wound or a door we hung acts up, we come back first and free.
Is the Care Plan worth it?+
For most homes, yes: an annual inspection, free scuff and touch-up visits, priority scheduling, and 15% off future projects typically pay for the membership the first time you use it, and keep every finish looking new.
